I recently dipped into the vibrant world of São Paulo Fashion Week N58, exploring it through TikTok, Vogue, and dedicated platforms like Mo.So, FFW, and Steal The Look. Among the standout designers this year, João Pimenta, Dendezeiro, Walério Araújo, LED, and Ateliê Mão de Mãe truly captured my heart. What struck me most was the dazzling diversity on the runways — a beautiful tapestry of inclusion that celebrated various shapes, features, and textures, all infused with the rich spirit of Brazil.

Reflecting on the accessibility and inclusivity of these fashion shows, I was warmed by the sight of plus-size models, older artists, and performers of all sizes gracing the runway. This edition even opened its doors to the public, sparking my imagination about the future of fashion. I envision a scene reminiscent of a Brazilian carnival — vibrant, open, and inclusive — where fashion is truly for everyone, even if some haven’t yet realized it.

Fashion is a powerful form of artistic expression, often flowing into our lives unnoticed — from the melancholic melody of a bird’s song to the latest Netflix hit. It exists in the delicate attire of a flower, the textures of nature, and the elaborate costumes of historical dramas. Art and fashion are intertwined, continuously enriching our everyday experiences.

The democratization of fashion involves recognizing that clothing tells stories and reveals cultures, not just for immediate consumption, but as a mirror of who we are and who we could be. Thus, when we talk about inclusion, it’s not just about who is on stage, but for whom the spectacle is created.

Who knows, in the future, the very act of dressing could become a shared artistic performance, with the streets as runways and society as the audience. After all, fashion is living culture, constantly in motion — and the public deserves to be increasingly close to that creative energy.
